1. Order and install IK00-3789.
Solution:
2. Kits above include new English operator’s manuals. Translated manuals needed for

language of machine owner must be ordered separately. Revisions of translated

manuals must match the revisions of the English manuals. Part numbers are listed

below.

3. To obtain translated manuals for the following languages, order the applicable part

number from Vermeer Parts Center. These items may not be immediately available.

In this case, the item(s) will reflect backorder status and will be shipped when

translation process is complete:

All BC1500 brush chippers located in Australia installing IK01 – IK06 must

immediately weigh machine after install is complete to ensure weight is less than the

ATM on VIN Plate. If weight is more than ATM, a vehicle modification plate must be

installed that reflects updated values to comply with Australian Design Rule (ADR)

61/02. If a machine weighs 3 500 kg (7,720 lb) or more, it will also need to have

safety chains installed that meet the marking requirements of ADR 62/02.

WARRANTY CONSIDERATION:

1.
Warranty will pay dealers 1 hour of labor or provide customer with $50 AUD parts

certificate after having the machine weighed at a certified weigh station for Australialocated machines only. Dealers in Australia use warranty labor code SB21 when filing a

claim and reference this service bulletin.

To receive reimbursement for the parts certificate, submit a standard warranty claim

referencing SVC2021-013 as the causal part number and attach a copy of the parts

certificate. Add the parts certificate to the other charges tab as a net item. Dealers are not

eligible to receive the parts certificate for machines in dealer inventory.
