Concern:
Charging cable may contact the steering I-Shaft, which could
result in damage to the charging cable.

Cause:
The charging cable may have been misrouted near steering
I-Shaft, causing it to contact components in certain
conditions.

Correction:
The Charging cable needs to be inspected for signs of damage and acceptable
clearance to steering I-shaft and surrounding components.
-If damage is found to the charging cable, the charging cable should be replaced.
-If incorrect routing is found but no damage, reroute the cable to spec.
For replacement please follow service manual instructions.

Perform charging cable
harness inspection
through opening in left
front arch well.

Inspect charging cable for
correct clearance from IShaft and look for signs of
damage if contact with IShaft was made. Use
Inspection Camera during
inspection.

During inspection, look
for 2 issues:
1: AC cable tucked behind
I-booster flange.
2: AC cable is touching
the I-shaft.

nuts in star pattern on
wheel (green circles).
