M161 Trofeo/Modena S MY21-22 – Front Half shaft replacement

Certain Maserati Levante Trofeo/Modena S MY21 and MY22 vehicles are involved in a Service
Campaign to replace both front half shafts (Axles).
This Campaign is to replace the front shafts that may have incorrect grease on the tripods junction. As a
consequence the driver could detect noise and vibration while driving.

The concern is only related to an increase in noise and vibration during normal use of the vehicle but
the drivability of the vehicle – in general – will not be compromised with this issue.
Operational Procedure:
1. Check on the attached vin list and in Modis to see if the vehicle is involved in this campaign
and if the campaign has not been previously performed.
2. Replace both the shafts following the technical instructions listed in Technical
Documentation On Line – Workshop Manual Sections:



6.90.000.0 CAR ALIGNMENT

3. Perform a Wheel Alignment

4. The operation is completed.
