The following Intake Manifold limited warranty extension is applicable for certain Audi vehicles. Affected vehicles
may include:

• Certain 2013 Model Year Audi A3 2.0L TFSI Vehicles
Note: This extension only applies to specific vehicles identified with Warranty Key U47.
To determine if a vehicle is eligible for this extension, check in the VIN in ElsaPro >> Vehicle Data. If the
limited warranty extension is applicable to the vehicle, the “Warranty Key” section of the “Vehicle Data”
screen in ElsaPro will be populated with Warranty Key U47.
Intake Manifold Limited Warranty Extension
For applicable vehicles, the New Vehicle Limited Warranty will be extended to cover repair or replacement (by an
authorized Audi dealer) of a malfunctioning Intake Manifold during a period of 10 years or 120,000 miles, whichever
occurs first, from the vehicle’s original in-service date.
The vehicle’s original in-service date is defined as the date the vehicle was delivered to either the original purchaser or
the original lessee; or if the vehicle was first placed in service as a “demonstrator” or “company” car, on the date such
vehicle was first placed in service.
What is Covered?
The limited warranty extension will be subject to the terms and conditions of the original applicable New Vehicle
Limited Warranty (other than the extended time/mileage period) and will include the Intake Manifold and any parts
and labor necessary to perform the repair. It will apply to all vehicles irrespective of whether the vehicle has been
repaired on or before the effective date.
Damage resulting from outside influences, such as but not limited to, abuse, alteration or modification, a collision or
crash, vandalism and/or other impact is excluded and not covered under the extended warranty. Repair or replacement
under this extended warranty must be performed by an authorized Audi dealer.
Please be aware that other conditions (unrelated to the issue described in this extension) may cause the Malfunction
Indicator Lamp (MIL) to come on. Customers should be prepared to cover the diagnosis and repair costs associated
with these other, unrelated conditions.

Warranty Policies and Procedures Bulletin
The MIL is part of the on-board diagnostic system. Please refer to the owner’s manual for additional information about
the MIL. In some locales, an illuminated Malfunction Indicator Lamp could cause the vehicle to fail an IM emissions
inspection, and the vehicle registration application could be denied.
Certain states have voluntarily adopted California-mandated emissions warranties only for vehicles equipped to meet
California’s Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) emissions requirements. These vehicles can be identified by
inspecting the Vehicle Emission Control Information Label located under the hood. Because of this, the owner of a
vehicle equipped to meet California’s PZEV emissions requirements living in one of these states may have warranty
rights that exceed the extended warranty offering described in this bulletin. Owners should refer to the warranty
information that came with their vehicle for additional details as to whether or not this applies to their vehicle.
Transferability
The warranty, as extended, is fully transferable to subsequent owners.
Vehicle Eligibility
To determine if a vehicle is eligible for this extension, check in the VIN in ElsaPro >> Vehicle Data. If the limited
warranty extension is applicable to the vehicle, the “Warranty Key” section of the “Vehicle Data” screen in ElsaPro will
be populated with Warranty Key U47.
Vehicles with the totaled status are excluded from coverage under this Limited warranty extension.
