Gear Shift Assistant (i.e. quick-shifter / clutch-less shifting) is not working. Damaged wire(s) in the main
wiring harness (see Figure 1 and Figure 2).

Note: Please also read TIS Bulletin 23 01 18 for more information on Gear Shift Assistant faults.
PROCEDURE
In a customer complaint case, a TSARA case with a relevant description of the damage is to be created,
including an image of the main wiring harness label.
Following wiring harness repair, check that the cable to the Gear Shift Assistant is laid correctly (see Figure
3). The elongated length (from clip to plug end) is 110 mm in all K8x models.
