M1534: POLICE - SPEAKER BRACKET
Purpose for Service Bulletin

This bulletin informs dealers that Harley-Davidson has identified
Police models that have an obsolete bracket (Part No.
76000856) installed, which can damage the front fender while
operating.

Required Dealer Action
What to do if obsolete bracket is found?
• See Figure 1. If dealer has inventory of bracket Part No.
76000856A, no action is required.
• See Figure 2. If dealer has inventory of bracket Part No.
76000856, remove part from inventory. File a Defective Stock
(DFS) warranty claim. Refer to Table 3.
• If dealer has inventory of Audio Kit (76001039), check kit. If
kit has bracket Part No. 76000856A, no action is required.
If kit has bracket Part No. 76000856, remove part from kit.
File a Defective Stock (DFS) warranty claim. Refer to Table
3. Order replacement bracket (Part No. 76000856A) using
the standard part ordering process and replace kit with new
bracket.
• If motorcycle has obsolete bracket installed, remove and
replace with new bracket. Submit warranty claim. Refer to
Table 2.
• If front fender is damaged, receive authorization to remove
and replace damaged fender.
