IF YOU CONFIRM
While in AUTO headlight mode, the Intelligent Headlights do not come ON after four (4)
complete sweeps of the windshield wipers.


The four (4) complete windshield wiper sweeps must occur within a one (1) minute
time period.
NOTE: Windshield wipers are set to any ON position.

ACTION
Reconfigure the BCM.

contains information that is essential to successfully completing this repair.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Connect the VI to the vehicle.

2.

Start C-III plus.

3.

Wait for the VI to be recognized.


4.

The serial number will display when the VI is recognized.

Select Re/programming, Configuration.

Check the “Confirmed instructions” box to acknowledge the precaution instructions
have been read, and then select Next.
NOTE: Use the arrows (if needed) to view and read all the precautions.

Select Automatic Selection(VIN).

Allow the CONSULT to perform automatic VIN selection.

Confirm the VIN or Chassis # is correct, and then select Confirm.

configuration.
