The customer may report the following complaints after an MBUX multimedia system (A26/17) software update:

The Dynamic Select menu may not be shown properly in the MBUX display. A loading wheel may instead be

displayed

In the MBUX settings vehicle menu, the vehicle silhouette may only appear intermittently

The energy flow display may not be shown properly in the MBUX display
Note: The functionality of the vehicle is not affected. Dynamic select modes can still be toggled via the touchpad

Remedy

Re-program all MBUX multimedia system (A26/17) software modules using XENTRY Diagnosis via the special procedure ("MBUX multimedia system" -> "Adaptations" -> "Teach-in processes" -> Special procedure: Control unit programming, All modules", see attachment). Prior to attempting the procedure, please ensure your XENTRY Diagnosis

machine has the latest software installed (06/21 as of this publication) as well as all available addons.

Note: Do not replace any parts.
