Summary
Some customers may experience a SBS/SCBS, LAS/LDWS and/or HBC warning light on. A system error message may also be found in the center display. DTC U3000:04-0A (Forward sensing camera (FSC) internal malfunction). DTC U3000:04-0A (Forward sensing camera (FSC) internal malfunction) is stored in the FSC module and cannot be erased. This concern may be caused by a hardware failure of an internal device of the FSC, which results in a malfunction detection. To eliminate this concern, the production process of the FSC has been modified.

DTC U3000:04-0A (Forward sensing camera (FSC) internal malfunction) is stored in the FSC module and cannot be
erased. This concern may be caused by a hardware failure of an internal device of the FSC, which results in a
malfunction detection. To eliminate this concern, the production process of the FSC has been modified.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Using Mazda
Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS), verify DTC U3000:04-0A (FSC) is stored in memory.
- If other DTC(s) are stored, diagnose them according to the instructions on MGSS online.
3. Replace the FSC with a modified one according to the instructions on MGSS online:
