Removal of the Wire Harness - Cascadia 125
Remove as follows:
WARNING: PERSONAL INJURY
To avoid injury from hot surfaces, wear protective gloves, or allow engine to cool before removing
any component.
To avoid injury from electrical shock, use care when connecting battery cables. The magnetic
switch studs are at battery voltage.

Disconnect the batteries at the negative post, including the batteries for the auxiliary HVAC, if equipped.
Remove the driveline from the transmission output.
Remove the fuel crossover bracket from the transmission.
Unplug the harness connections from the back of the transmission and remove the wire ties securing the harness to the
raceway. See figure below.
5. Remove the forward, right-hand side-fairing panel, if applicable. See Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
procedures.
6. Remove the right-hand, cab-mounted splash shield. See OEM procedures.
7. Remove the ATD inlet pipe and bellows in one piece.
8. Remove the exhaust support bracket from the flywheel housing.
9. Remove the fuel routing support brackets and remove the remaining ties securing the harness to the top of the
transmission. See figures below.

10. Remove the harness connectors and remove any wire ties from the left side of the transmission. See figure below.

Installation of the Wire Harness - Cascadia 125
Install as follows:
1. Lay the harness out on the top of the transmission and install the TCM connector.
2. Route the harness along the raceway on the top and right side, installing ties loosely.
3. Connect the harness and install any wire ties on the back of the transmission. See figure below.
4. Connect the harness and install wire ties from the left side of the transmission. See figures below.

6. Secure the harness into position, while ensuring the harness is not pulled tight or rubbing in a way that could cause
damage.
7. Install the fuel crossover bracket.
8. Install the fuel routing support brackets on the top of the transmission.
9. Install the exhaust support bracket from the flywheel housing. Torque to 22 to 26 N·m (17 to 19 lb·ft).
10. Install the ATD inlet pipe assembly. Torque to 12.8 to 14.2 N·m (9.5 to 10.5 lb·ft).
11. Install the right-hand, cab-mounted splash shield. See Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) procedures.
12. Install the right-hand side-fairing panels. See OEM procedures.
13. Install the driveline and torque to 156 to 183 N·m (115 to 135 lb·ft).
To avoid injury from electrical shock, use care when connecting battery cables. The magnetic
switch studs are at battery voltage.
14. Connect the batteries.
