Products affected:

6262 Series

ECCO is conducting a field campaign to replace 6262 series LED beacons manufactured on April 1st and April 9th, 2015. These
products were shipped from our facility between September 1st, 2015 and September 16, 2015. Our records indicate that you were
one of the customers shipped between these dates. We recently discovered a manufacturing issue with one of the components on
the circuit board which can cause the product to flash incorrectly and cause the product to fail. Therefore, to ensure our customers’
satisfaction with our products, ECCO will provide replacement product or issue credit for all returned 6262 manufactured on either
April 1, 2015 or April 9, 2015. Your company would have received shipment of these production lots between September 1st and
September 20th. Please return all 6262 product with these date codes to our facility as soon as possible. This includes product on
the shelf and product in service on vehicles with manufacturing date codes of April 1, 2015 or April 9, 2015. Please contact ECCO
customer service, (800) 635‐5900, for a return goods authorization number.
We request that you contact your customers who have purchased 6262 during the affected time and offer a product replacement.
Replacement product will be supplied to you at no charge. For specific application issues, specification details, or advice needed on
selecting the appropriate product replacement, please contact ECCO customer service, (800)‐635‐5900.
ECCO is looking to remove all affected product from service as soon as possible. Our records indicate the following shipment(s) of
6262x to your company. Please see the attached description on how to identify the manufacturing date and which manufacturing
dates are affected.
