Reason for this Service Bulletin
Aston Martin has found that the body side finishers (C-ducts) can crack on some DB11 and DBS Superleggera vehicles.
This is because the incorrect bushes were installed with the screws that attach the finisher, or no bushes were installed.
Do the procedure that follows if there is a crack in a body side finisher.
Workshop Procedure
1. Do a check of the crack location. This can usually be
found approximately 26mm from the front end of
the body side finisher (refer to Figure 1). The
location is above the end clip.
Start a SpotLight ePDR and attach photographs of all
crack locations.

2. Do a check for cracks in the body side finisher on the opposite side of the vehicle.
3. Remove the cantrail finisher (refer to Workshop Manual Procedure 01.08.EM or 01.08.EN).

4. Take close-up photographs of the five screws and
bushes that attach the bodyside finisher to the
vehicle (refer to Figure 2). Attach the photographs
to the ePDR.

5. Do steps 2 to 5 of the procedure to remove the body side finisher (refer to Workshop Manual Procedure
01.08.EJ or 01.08.EK).
6. Do steps 5 and 4 of the procedure to install a new body side finisher.
7. In step 3 of the procedure, make sure you install
bushes with the screws that attach the finisher to
the vehicle body (refer to Figure 2 and Figure 3).

8. Complete the procedure to install a new body side finisher.
