INSTRUCTIONS
1. Inspect unit operation for
proper airflow by turning on
the A/C System and checking
for air output from the two
air vents highlighted in
yellow (fig 1).
2. If airflow is present from the
air vents - no remedy is
required. Use flat rate Code
9801571A for repair. No
further action is necessary.

3. If airflow is NOT present from
the air vents – a remedy is
required. Proceed to step
four.
4. Remove the A/C Cover by
removing (4) screws; (2) are
under the small plugs and (2)
are under the removable
vent. Save the screws.
5. With the cover out of your
way, you will be able to reach
in with your hand to access
the plenum, which feeds air
to both ducts. (Fig 2).

6. In the opening at the A/C unit, cut or remove the foil tape at both duct openings to allow airflow
to move through ducting. (Fig 2) illustrates this step.
7. This process will help airflow due to the air duct running on both sides of the opening. One on the
door side and one on the off door side.
8. Check A/C for proper airflow output at the vents. If A/C is running properly reattach A/C cover. Use
flat rate code 9801571B for repair.
