Eliminating Noise Symptoms - Replacing Rubber Stops on Front Hood (Creaking noise from
around the dashboard or A-pillar/SY0116)

Symptom:

Creaking noises come from around the dashboard/A-pillar while driving.

Cause:

Material pairing between the buffers and rear rubber stops on the front hood results in creaking noises
from around the dashboard/A-pillar at the left and right.

Introduction:

From February 2, 2016 onwards, optimized rubber stops (new Part No. 95B.863.23x.A) are used during
production.

Remedial
action:

In the event of a complaint, replace both rear rubber stops on the front hood with new rubber stops 
Workshop Manual '552237 Disassembling and assembling front lid'.
