Mechanical Fault Stored in DME (1303)
This bulletin replaces bulletin Group 4,

#1303, dated 2-23-15.

Check Engine and Hybrid warning illuminated
Information:
If the fault P055600 is stored in the DME, the

brake booster vacuum system must be function

tested as per the information in Guided Fault

Finding and Diagnosis Information.
If no electrical or vacuum faults are found after

following Guided Fault Finding and Diagnosis

Information, the fault may have been set by an

intermittent stuck open pump relay or check

valve in the vacuum lines. The pump relay and

three vacuum lines containing check valves

should then be replaced.

If the fault is not resolved after following Guided

Fault Finding, Diagnosis Information, and replacing

the relay / vacuum lines containing check valves,

please submit a PTEC-TLAR for additional support.
