In some cases, the DTC VCU1-U210782, “Collision Mitigation by breaking, Bus Signal” may be set in
VCU1, usually after a software update, with no customer symptoms present.
This is due to the new VCU1 software that was released earlier this year.

If DTC VCU1-U210782 is set after a software upgrade, it can be ignored as it does not affect any of the
functions in the car.
No action needs to be taken to erase or fault trace this DTC.
The car can leave the workshop with this DTC set.
In case of an actual fault, this DTC is set in combination with other VCU1-communication DTC’s and
an error message will be displayed in the DIM (Driver Information Module).
New software to correct this DTC to be set is planned to be released later this year.
