Safe – T – Anchor Removable Seat mounting system.
Known and referred to verbally as:
STARS
With excitement we introduce the revolutionary S.T.A.R.S. seat mounting system for use in all
models of our special needs buses. S.T.A.R.S. is designed and tested to work with all methods of
wheelchair securement, eliminating the need for continuous button track with track mounted seats.

S.T.A.R.S. is available with:- 30”, 36”, 39” and 45” wide seats.
S.T.A.R.S. provides the optimum number of seating positions while ensuring the correct seat
spacing is maintained when seats are removed and reinstalled.
Advantage #1: - Regular wall mounted seats (S3B, S3C, & IMMI) replace the need for special track
mounted seats and expensive track mounting hardware.
Advantage #2:- Seats are easily removed and reinstalled from inside the bus, with no guessing on
where seat feet are to be bolted. Unlike track mounted seating where seat feet can be installed
anywhere in the button track, correct seat spacing is ensured, as they can only be bolted in one
place.
Advantage #3:- Substantial cost savings over full length track when used in conjunction with the
different types of wheelchair securement systems.
Advantage #4:- Thomas designed system – TBB is the only manufacturer offering.

HOW DO YOU ORDER THE S.TA.R.S. SYSTEM

1) Must order a lift equipped vehicle
2) Select how many seats you want to be S.T.A.R.S.
3) Select your wheelchair securement method from the S.T.A.R.S. titled systems
a) Covered Pockets
b) Segmented Track
c) Slide N Click
d) Continuous track
4) Submit your quote to seat plan and they will confirm your seat layout
Note:- Covered Pockets and Segmented Track for Minotours will use the existing wheelchair
securement options rather than the S.T.A.R.S. wheelchair securement systems available on other
models.

S.T.A.R.S. Continuous track is NOT available at this time on Minotours. For customers requiring
continuous track on Minotours, you must order the (4) piece Track with track seating option.

a) The Slide N Click wheelchair securement system (not available in New Jersey) is the most cost
effective method when combined with S.T.A.R.S.

b) Covered Pockets provide dirt intrusion protection when not in use for the lug mounted restraint
systems.

c) The Segmented Track kit provides the option for accommodating longer than normal
wheelchairs.

d) Continuous Track provides the most variable tie down dimensions for the longest wheelchairs.
Note:- The spacing of S.T.A.R.S. continuous track does not allow the installation of track
mounted seats.
The installation of all these options meets Federal requirements for wheelchair restraint belt pulls
and WC18.
