The purpose of this bulletin is to explain and clarify new features that are standard on the
2016 C2.
All C2 orders submitted on or after 8/6/14 will automatically have added as standard
equipment, 3 year bumper to bumper warranty (body and chassis), Zonar Telematics and
Allison Fuel Sense. The FuelSense Basic is a standard no charge option. FuelSense Plus and
Max do have additional cost. There will be the option of removing these new features if so
desired. This will be accomplished by choosing a “None” sales code for each of the three.
If you have a quote that has not been sent to commit to order before 8/6/14, and now want to
commit it to order, you will be prompted and required by ASIST to validate it before it can be
committed to order. The prompt will require you to make choices, for warranty (body and
chassis), Zonar, Fuel Sense or none.
This is an example of what you may be seeing in the configurator. The codes highlighted in
yellow are the standards.

The section below is to explain in more detail these new features.
1) FL-995-011, DITWAR00013 - 3 year, 50K mile bumper to bumper body and chassis
warranty.

2) Zonar D1307-04-000
 This system monitors the following: standard Zonar GPS functions plus the
addition of Pre-trip, Post-trip, Stop Sign, Cross Gate, DEF Tank Level, Transmission
Economy Mode On/Off, Regen Status, Heater Activation (Non Webasto), Cruise
Control, Entrance door, Rear Door, Driver Seat Belt, Passenger Advisory
(Multiplexed only, excludes Child Check Mate), Reverse Signal, A/C Activation, Lift
Activation, Water in Fuel, Parking Brake, Coolant Level, Engine Run, Key Position,
Headlight Status, BHM Fault Codes, Fuel Level, Engine Idle Time, Low Voltage,
Vehicle Speed, Bus Tracking
3) Fuel Sense by Allison transmission. (Also standard on type ”D”)
 This technology combines software and electronic controls to improve fuel
economy.
 There are three packages.
 FuelSense Basic; standard on all 2016 C2/HDX/EFX buses.
