Item 1.
Description:

Crankshaft Position Sensor/Ignition Pick Up

Models affected:

Bonneville, Scrambler, Thruxton, Speedmaster and America models with an air
cooled engine

The crankshaft position sensor/ignition pick up is tested using an ohms meter.
To check the internal resistance of the sensor:
•

Disconnect and isolate the sensor’s electrical connector from the wiring harness;

•

Set the multimeter to ohms;

•

Touch one probe to one electrical terminal of the sensor, the other to the remaining electrical terminal;

•

Note the reading on the instrument;

•

Compare with the resistance shown in the specification table.

Description:

Front Brake Hose P-clip

Models affected:

Tiger XRX-LRH and Tiger XRC-LRH from VIN 730987 to VIN 731005

The above models are fitted with a front brake hose secured by a P-clip to the lower yoke.
If removed for any reason the P-clip must be repositioned 476 mm from the edge of the brake hose union.
When fitting a new front brake hose discard the P-clip and secure the brake hose using the pre-positioned
clamp supplied with the hose.
When replacing a front brake hose always refer to the EPC.

Engine Bar Plugs

Models affected:

Tiger XC and Tiger XCA

A modification has been introduced to the engine bars fitted to the above models from VIN 737369. Three
plugs are fitted to each engine bar and a drain hole has also been introduced. The new engine bars are
retrofittable to the above models.
