2014 ROGUE; FRONT PASSENGER DOOR
POWER WINDOW SWITCH FINISHER LOOSE FIT
APPLIED VEHICLE: 2014 Rogue (T32)

IF YOU CONFIRM:
The “front door power window and door
lock/unlock switch (RH) finisher” (switch
finisher) has a loose fit, causing an
excessive gap. See Figure 1.

ACTION:
1. Remove the passenger front door finisher (door finisher).
 Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section INT-Interior, for removal
procedure.
2. Install a foam block where shown in SERVICE PROCEDURE.
 Use the foam block listed in PARTS INFORMATION.
3. Install the door finisher with a new switch finisher listed in PARTS INFORMATION.
 Refer to the ESM, section INT-Interior, for installation procedure.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Remove the passenger front door finisher.


Refer to the ESM, section INT-Interior, for removal procedure.



Perform all repairs in a clean working environment.

2. Install a foam block (see PARTS INFORMATION).
a. Clean the area with rubbing alcohol or other suitable cleaner before installing the
foam block.
b. Remove the adhesive backing, and then apply the foam block where shown in
Figure 2.
 Press firmly, making sure the foam block adheres to the door finisher.

3. Pull the white insulation over the foam
block (see Figure 3).

4. Replace the switch finisher with the
one listed in PARTS INFORMATION.
a. Unclip the switch finisher from the
“front door power window and door
lock/unlock switch” (door switch).
See Figure 4.
b. Snap the new switch finisher to the
existing door switch.
NOTE: Make sure all four (4) switch
finisher tabs are fully snapped onto
the door switch.

5. Install the door finisher.


Refer to the ESM, section INTInterior, for installation procedure.



To ensure switch finisher retention:
It is important the switch finisher’s
tab is located in the correct position
(Figure 5) before installing the door
pull handle and bracket.
