2012 – 2013 M35 HYBRID; 12V BATTERY FOR SERVICE
APPLIED VEHICLE: 2012 – 2013 M35 Hybrid (HY51)

SERVICE INFORMATION
If there is a need to replace the M35 Hybrid 12V battery for any reason, replace it with the battery
that is listed in the Parts Information section on the next page.
•

When the service battery from the Parts Information is used, the battery’s “Exhaust Tube”
must be relocated to the negative terminal side of the battery (far side) as shown in Figure 2.

•

The service battery will come with an elbow fitting, vinyl extension tube and a plug to block off the
exhaust vent on the positive side (near side) of the battery where the vent is located in Figure 2.

CONTROL, PG – REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 12V BATTERY for the service procedure to replace
the 12V battery.
