Needing regen in same area every time

| have two trucks that get low Nox eff codes in and around Nashville Tn everytime. Its like clock
work. They end up having to do a regen or two then once they do that there good for the rest of
the

week. My question is this because of the year of the truck and the atmosphereic pressures
combined with the hill they climb? Does it need a software update? or would a 2018 truck do
better then these

trucks. We have went threw these trucks multiple times and don't find issues. Also if these
trucks stay in Ohio or go to Missouri they don't need any parked regens

| would think it is more to the Hill they climb.

| would hook up DL8 and log file the conditions, monitor Nox conversion, inlet and outlet Nox.
We see this condition a lot, okay in a parked regen, but load up the engine and nox con drops.
This is usually due to a dirty running engine (Poor Combustion). We see tight valve setting as
the #1 cause. It could also be other items, use the ATD check list, it is a good recourse to
check the engines sensors and EGR system.
