Charger Connect) and vehicle charging cable.

Action required: Supply charging electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger Connect) and vehicle charging cable.

Important:

Always check vehicle history in PCSS. If the missing charging electronics were already provided through
warranty, the campaign no longer applies, and the "campaign not feasible - scope of campaign
already completed before campaign release" option must be selected in PCSS. In this scenario, the
"warranty relevant flag" must be selected in order to transfer the $0 job line to WWS and close the
campaign.

Supplying charging electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger Connect)
WARNING
Unsecured load
•

An unsecured, incorrectly secured or incorrectly positioned charger can slip out of place and endanger
occupants when braking, accelerating, changing direction or in the event of an accident.



Never transport the charger unsecured.



Stow the charger in the charging bag* in the luggage compartment.



Always transport the charging bag* in the luggage compartment, never in the passenger compartment
(e.g. on or in front of the seats).

Information
*The charging equipment will be supplied with or without a transport bag, depending on the vehicle
equipment. On vehicles with BOSE or Burmester sound package (I-no. 9VL/9VJ), the charging equipment
is supplied in a black charging bag in the vehicle. On vehicles with sound package 1 (I-no. 9VK), the
charging equipment is supplied in a plastic bag.

Charging equipment
2.1

Install vehicle charging cable on the charging
electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger
Connect).

2.2

Close lever and push plug into the charging
electronics (Mobile Charger Basic) until you
feel a certain amount of resistance.

2.3

Lift up lever and push the plug in fully.

2.4

Press lever down to close.

2.5

Secure plug to the charging electronics with
the screw -C -.

2.6

Once the vehicle charging cable has been
secured to the charging electronics (Porsche
Mobile Charger Connect), also secure the
power cable.
To do this, repeat Steps 2.2 to 2.6.

If a transport bag is included in the delivery (see information above): Always stow and
transport the charger in the bag. Attach the bag to the front and rear lashing points
using the hooks. For information on the lashing points in the luggage compartment:

If a transport bag is not supplied (see information above): Transport the charger by
stowing it in the rear luggage compartment.

•

Depending on the vehicle equipment, stow the charger in such a way that occupants are
not at risk in the event of danger.

Place assembled charging electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger Connect) in the vehicle.

Enter the campaign in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet..
