Technical background
IMPORTANT: Refer to the vehicle repair history – In the event that all four door latches have been replaced previously, only the individual/faulty
latch should now be replaced (See example of door latch in Figure 1)

Ensure the fault is as described within the Customer statement, refer to the video on the Bentley Hub referencing TPI 2052394 /NOTE: The video shown on the Bentley Hub is for reference purposes only, the symptom is the same regardless of vehicle type shown
1) Obtain a clear video recording of the issue from each individual affected door latch NOTE: Save each video as they will be required later
within this procedure
IMPORTANT: Refer to the vehicle repair history - In the event that all four door latches have been replaced previously, only the
individual/faulty door latch should now be replaced
2) Referring to the applicable Repair Group - Rep.Gr 57 (Front) or Rep.Gr 58 (Rear) - Replace one or all four door latches (as detailed in the
Technical background section)
