attached service bulletin released by Aqua Hot on March 15, 2021,
regarding an updated control thermostat.

Aqua-Hot has announced that due to a higher than normal failure rate on the
ELE-014-010 Control Thermostat in the 250D and 250P Series of hydronic
heating systems, this part has been redesigned. The old part number, (with
black epoxy), has been replaced with part number ELE-015-011 (with tan
epoxy). If there is a field failure of the control thermostat, Aqua Hot will
provide a replacement thermostat with the new part number.
CORRECTION:
If you have shelf stock of the old Aqua Hot control thermostat part number
ELE-014-010 (with black epoxy), Aqua Hot can issue an RGA and provide
replacement(s). For further details, please refer to the attached Aqua Hot
Service Bulletin.

Overview:
Aqua-Hot is consistently working to improve the quality and experience of our consumers. Aqua-Hot has determined that we
have had a higher than normal failure rate on the ELE-014-010 Control Thermostat in the 250D and 250P Series of hydronic
heating systems. We have worked with our suppliers to identify the failure cause and have redesigned this part to eliminate these
occurrences.
On March 8, 2021, Aqua-Hot implemented a change to the epoxy that seals the switch inside the control thermostat. All Aqua-Hot
250 Systems built on and after that date have this change and all parts orders from that date forward will have this improved
epoxy as well.

The old part number, ELE-014-010 (with black epoxy), is now replaced with part number ELE-015-011 (with tan epoxy):

Any Aqua-Hot 250D and 250P models in the field that experiences a failure with the control thermostat should replace it with
the new part, ELE-015-011, (fix as fail).
