CONDITION SUMMARY:
SITUATION:
The front grille may become loose. Should this occur, a rattle may be heard, damage to the
paint between the hood and the grille may occur, and/or the grille may protrude from the
front of the vehicle.
CAUSE:
This may be caused by the front grille being not correctly retained due to the center clip not
being fully engaged, allowing the outer-most clips to become adrift and/or broken.
ACTION:
Should a customer express this concern, follow the Workshop Procedure below.

Remove and discard the front upper grille.

Install the new front grille to the vehicle and check it has engaged fully with the
pressure tube rail in the central position.
A 'click' can be heard when the central clip is fully engaged.
