DESCRIPTION:

If the driver quickly and repeatedly turns the steering wheel between its left/right end positions during

idle, then a warning message about reduced steering assistance could occur in the drivers information

module (DIM) and DTC PSCM-U300094 could be stored.

During frequent steering maneuvering while idling, the charging capacity of the alternator might not be

sufficient and the state of charge (SOC) in the support battery may drop below 9V, which temporarily

reduce the steering assistance for a short moment.

The symptom disappear automatically within 1-2 seconds after driver finished the parking maneuver.

Affected vehicles are built from chassis number 63425, but also earlier vehicles could have this

symptom if the vehicle has been updated with new software from 25th of July 2018.
