Forest River is alerting you to a Ford Recall 20V795 involving certain 2021 Starcraft and Eldorado Buses. Please see the
information below, which describes the issue and provides you with details on the steps you should take to have your
vehicle repaired.
WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
As per Ford Motor Company Recall 20V795, the underside of the engine cover may have incorrectly installed insulation.
The engine cover may become excessively hot, potentially causing burns to ones skin.

Please contact your Ford Dealer to arrange an appointment to have the engine cover inspected.
DEALERS: WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
DO NOT DEMONSTRATE OR DELIVER any new in-stock vehicles involved in this safety recall. A complete Dealer
Bulletin will be provided to dealers when parts are available to support this safety recall.

Affected vehicles are identified in OASIS and FSA VIN Lists.
REASON FOR THIS SAFETY RECALL
Some of the affected vehicles may contain an engine cover with insulation on the underside of the
engine cover that does not fully extend to the perimeter of the engine cover as intended. As a result,
heat from the engine compartment can cause elevated temperatures on the passenger compartment
surface of the engine cover. Direct and continuous contact with certain areas of the passenger
compartment surface of the engine cover may cause burns to the skin of the driver or front seat
passenger.
SERVICE ACTION
DO NOT DEMONSTRATE OR DELIVER any new in-stock vehicles involved in this safety recall. A
complete Dealer Bulletin will be provided to dealers when parts are available to support this safety
recall.
IMPORTANT: Dealers should open a Repair Order (RO) only when a full dealer bulletin is
published. Opening a RO against an Awareness or Advance Notice will result in warranty
rejections against a recall.
CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION
Owners of record will be notified via first-class mail by the week of February 8, 2021, at which time, it
is anticipated that repair instructions and parts ordering information will have been provided to
dealers.
PLEASE NOTE:
Federal law requires dealers to complete this recall service before a new vehicle is delivered to
the buyer or lessee. Violation of this requirement by a dealer could result in a civil penalty of
up to $21,000 per vehicle. Correct all vehicles in your new vehicle inventory prior to delivery.

MOTIF DE CE RAPPEL DE SÉCURITÉ
Certains des véhicules concernés peuvent contenir un capot moteur avec une isolation sur la face
inférieure du capot moteur qui ne s’étend pas complètement jusqu’au périmètre du capot moteur comme
prévu. En conséquence, la chaleur du compartiment moteur peut entraîner des températures élevées sur
la surface de l’habitacle du capot moteur. Le contact direct et continu avec certaines zones de la surface
de l’habitacle du capot moteur peut provoquer des brûlures sur la peau du conducteur ou du passager
avant.
ACTION DU SERVICE
NE PAS EFFECTUER DE DÉMONSTRATION OU DE LIVRAISON de tout nouveau véhicule en
inventaire, touché par ce rappel de sécurité. Un bulletin du concessionnaire complet sera fourni aux
concessionnaires lorsque des pièces seront disponibles pour soutenir ce rappel de sécurité.
IMPORTANT : Les concessionnaires doivent ouvrir une commande de réparation (CR)
uniquement lorsqu’un bulletin complet du concessionnaire est publié. Ouvrir une CR sur
avis pour prévenir ou un avertissement entraînera des refus de garantie contre un rappel.
