The purpose of this Product Upgrade bulletin is to inform REV dealers of the
need to inspect, and if necessary, correct the position of an oil fill tube on
certain model year 2021 Fleetwood Discovery and Pace Arrow LXE Class
A motorhomes and certain 2021 Holiday Rambler Endeavor and Navigator
Class A motorhomes. A list of affected vehicle serial numbers appears at the
end of this bulletin.
CONDITION:
On motorhomes affected by this Product Upgrade, there may be inadequate
clearance between the oil fill tube and adjacent chassis components.
CORRECTION:
Follow the steps below to correct the position of the oil fill tube by adjusting
the orientation of its attachment bracket.

Park the motorhome on dry, level pavement. Place the transmission
into NEUTRAL. Set the PARK brake and block the wheels to prevent
movement. Maintain control of keys while work is performed. Place a
sign, “DO NOT USE” in the driver’s area.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
2.

To access the engine compartment, enter
the coach and go to the rear bathroom.
Locate the engine access cover (in front of
the vanity). See Figure 1. Remove the bolt(s)
attaching the cover. Set the cover and bolts
aside until repairs have been completed.

3.

Locate the oil fill tube. See Figures 2 and 3.
• If the oil fill tube is unobstructed and
does not contact chassis components
or framing, no repairs are necessary.
Take several clear photos of the area
to submit with the warranty claim (using
the flat rate code for Inspected/Not
Defective), and then skip to Step 10 to
reinstall the engine access cover.

• If the oil fill tube is in contact with any chassis component(s) or framing which
may impede oil flow through the tube, take several clear photos of the area
showing the obstruction(s) and attach them to a draft claim in the warranty
portal, and then continue to Step 4, Repair Procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE

Locate the bracket on the chassis securing the oil fill tube. Refer to Figures 2 and 3.

5.

Remove the three nuts, three bolts and the clamp from this bracket. Leave the clamp
on the oil fill tube; it will be resecured in a later step. Retain two (each) of the bolts and
nuts that were removed.
Note: One set of bracket attachment bolts and nuts will not be reinstalled.

6. Position the attachment bracket so
that the bend in its leg faces inward,
towards the fan ring. Refer to Figure
4. Place one of the bolts (retained in
Step 5) through the back side of the
upper-most hole in the fan ring and
through the hole in the flat leg of the
bracket so that bolt exits through the
front of the fan ring. Thread one of the
nuts (retained in Step 5) onto the bolt
but do not tighten it at this time.

7. Rotate the bracket down until the
bend in its lower leg contacts the
fan ring. Refer to the illustrations in
Figures 5 and 6.
8. Once proper clearance for the oil fill
tube has been achieved, hand-tighten
the bolt on the bracket until snug.
9. Reattach the clamp for the oil fill tube
to the oil fill hose attachment bracket,
using one remaining bolt and nut.
Hand-tighten until snug.
Take several clear photos of the
completed repair and attach them
to a claim in the REV RV dealer
warranty portal (A.D.N.) Submit the
claim using the repair flat rate code
listed on Page 4.

10. Reinstall the engine access cover
using the original fasteners. Tighten
until snug.
