Introduction
This manual will take you step-by-step on installing the Hino Cab Over Engine (COE) 195, 195h,195h DC, 195 DC kit with
diagnostics.

Note: This manual supports both hybrid (195h and 195h DC) and diesel (195 and 195DC) configuration.

The following are the required tools and parts for the Hino COE Kit:

Step 1 — Pre Installation

Record ESN number
ESN label is located under the device.
Record Vin number
Vin number is on a tag located in the driver’s door jam

Step 2 — Getting Started: Lower passenger panel removal

Start on passenger side
Remove panel lower right of center
Remove 2 x 10mm bolts
Remove 10mm bolt lower right corner of dash near door jam

Step 3 — Lower Passenger panel removal continued

Locate the plastic rivet on the side of the panel near the door hinge
Press in on the center of the rivet to release
Pull rivet out of its hole
Locate and remove the screws inside the storage tray just under the glove box
Lower panel may now be removed

Step 4 — Antenna Installation

Remove glove box
Install antenna directly under he dash panel as shown.
Route the Cable behind the vent down to the bracket where the device is to be installed

Step 5 — Install bracket

Install device cradle to installation bracket using the supplied 4 screws.
Note the installation bracket is labeled to identify orientation
Once lower panel is removed locate this factory support
Note there are places for a 10 mm bolt top and bottom
Install mounting bracket from kit using the supplied 10mm bolts

Step 6 — Wiring the device

Locate and plug into 10 pin white harness (above installed bracket)
Screw DB15 cable to device
Use small flat head screwdriver for this
Screw antenna connections onto device
Install device into its cradle

Device gets installed plugs up and should be installed into cradle top first. There
is a module close to the device, if you attempt to install device bottom first you
will break the DB15 connection on the device causing failure.

Step 8 — Verify operation

Log into Installer portal to verify operation.
https://wanaka.telogis.com/Install/defau...
User name: hino-dealer
Password: hinodealer
Select install device under install tab
Enter "Hino" and select: Hino Install Holding

Step 9 — Verify operation

Enter ESN number from Step 1 here
Select matching "vehicle"
Select "NO" when asked if vehicle has previously had a device installed

Step 10 — Verify operation

Enter ESN recorded from Step 1 here
Enter ALL vehicle information here
Replace info in "TAG" with Vin number

Step 11 — Verify operation

Select "YES" when asked if device connected to diagnostics
Select "NO" when asked if external autotap is required
Select LMU-4225 install type
Review Installation checklist
Start the vehicle allow to run for a few minutes, then select Next

Step 12 — Verify operation

Once the device reports in you should get a green light/pass
Page will refresh on its own several times.
If you get a red light/fail cycle ignition and refresh the page
Once Basic QA passes you will be directed to Diagnostic QA. Here you should also get a
green light/pass
Even if you get a green light/pass select expand details and verify RPM is reporting. This
may take a several minutes for the device to report

suppliers. You agree to notify Telogis immediately upon discovery of any unauthorized
use or disclosure of Confidential Information or any other breach of these provisions
and will cooperate in every reasonable way to help Telogis regain possession of the
Confidential Information and prevent its further unauthorized use or disclosure.
Notwithstanding the above, you may disclose this Confidential Information to the extent
that disclosure is required to be disclosed by law; provided that you use all reasonable
efforts to provide Telogis with at least ten (10) days’ prior written notice of such
disclosure, you disclose only that portion of the Confidential Information that is legally
required to be furnished, and you reasonably cooperate with Telogis in its efforts to
obtain a protective order or other assurances from the applicable judicial or
governmental entity that it will afford the Confidential Information confidential treatment.
You further agree not to remove, alter, cover or distort any trademark, trade name,

Return of Confidential Information. At Telogis’s request, you shall cease use of
this Confidential Information and shall deliver to Telogis all documents and other media
(and all copies and reproductions of any of the foregoing) in your possession or control to
the extent same contain the Confidential Information. Upon Telogis’s request, you shall
also certify in writing that all materials containing this Confidential Information have been
either returned to Telogis or, if requested by Telogis, destroyed.
