General Information
Eaton has identified a group of power distribution modules (PDMs) that could have a potential defect similar to
the issue described in recall FL788. PDMs were shipped to the parts distribution centers (PDCs) and may have
been sold to dealers. Dealers are requested to check their stock for inventory of the part numbers shown in
Table 1.

Open the box and check the serial number on the side of the PDM, shown in Fig. 1.

Any PDM identified with a serial number equal to or less than 18106398 should not be installed. Return the
PDM(s) to the address below. Eaton will replace the suspect part with a new one. Include your return address
and the quantity of parts on a sheet of paper inside the box. If there are any questions, call Freightliner Custom
