DESCRIPTION
This document will guide the user through a process to recover lost programmed values in engine ECM. This condition
will typically result in a crank no start, or a no crank condition.
SYMPTOM(s)
The typical driver complaint is that the engine will not crank at all, or will crank and not start. The ECM will likely have some or
all of the faults listed below.

DIAGNOSTIC STEP(s)
1. Remove both the left and right side fuse panel covers located at the ends of the dashboard
2. Closely inspect for extra fuses populated in each panel per the linked article HERE
REPAIR STEP(s)
1. If fuses are found in BOTH locations in each left and right panel, remove one of the two from each panel depending on the
desired function of the AUX switches in the dash.
◦ Fuse location will determine if the AUX switches function using switched or unswitched battery power
2. For any missing injector calibration faults, take a picture of the top of each injector to capture the IQA code.
3. Manually reprogram each injector IQA back into the engine ECM as needed. Follow programming steps closely per the
published guidelines HERE
4. Finish reprogramming the remaining missing values into the ECM until all of the faults have cleared.
5. Install the fuse panel covers at each end of the dash.
