 DTC C050200 (front left wheel speed sensor Short circuit to ground).
 DTC C050800 (front right wheel speed sensor Short circuit to ground).

Technical Background
The ABS sensor wire may not be properly crimped to the pin of a front wheel speed sensor connector.

Production Solution
Improved crimping process of the wheel speed and brake pad harness.

Service
If one of the DTCs described above is found in the ABS control module, then follow the instructions below for
replacing the harness.
Note:
If the wire is crimped properly then this TSB does not apply. Please continue with normal diagnosis.
1. Ensure the strands of the wire are
protruding past the crimp sleeve
(Figure 1).

2. If the wire is found to be improperly
crimped, then replace the affected
harness for the front speed sensor
and brake pad wear indicator (Figure
2).
