It looks like this Service Solution is closed for comments. Is anybody still experiencing this issue?

Customer complaint of flashers going off intermittently. On a new truck with 17 miles, my first thought was how
intermittent? Went out to truck after sitting over the weekend and the batteries are stone dead. Connected
battery charger and 4 way flashers are on constantly. Read through SS1034348. First note in the solution
states that vehicles built after 8/24/2020 have an internal sSAM hardware change that eliminates this issue.
OWL shows build date of this truck as 9/23/2020. With that stated, the solution should not apply. However,
connected to DL, even with key off as shown in the screenshot, there is complete communication, all ECU's
are on roll call. The hazard light switch status is "off" but the hazard lights are on.

Being only a month apart I am not surprised that one is missed. I would follow the SS Bulletin.

Yeah, the one box harness said 7/17 and older trucks had the new improved harness. But I did find one built
8/17 that had the outdated harness and rubbed thru. My point is maybe they tried to implement this and trucks
after 8/24/20 but there could have been a few trucks that slipped thru the cracks, and have the older SSAM, in
the following month or two. Its interesting they mention a hardware change but no p/n to correspond.
No doubt its a very hard issue to diagnose. There are many many many causes for this. Typically its the
MSF. Best to try a MSF and see if it fixes it. Or you can spend 3+ hours checking msf wiring, analyzing codes
time stamps and occurances, door switches, cable connections to; SSAM, BCA, Batteries, GNDP at frame
rail, at pass thru. I believe brake switch and park switch could cause it. You might have to make a case with
tech support to inquire if replacing the SSAM would correct it. How much has been resolved for the 4 way
activation? Just low voltage? Is it caused by door open with 4 ways. Would be interesting to know, to help
diagnose. You probably should start with a ticket, the Solution is very unclear at this point.
