This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has also been released as a Rapid Response
Transmittal (RRT) 20-070, date of issue October 08, 2020. All applicable Sold and Un-Sold
RRT VINs have been loaded. To verify this RRT service action is applicable to the
vehicle, use VIP or perform a VIN search in DealerCONNECT/Service Library. All repairs are
reimbursable within the provisions of warranty. This RRT will expire 18 months after the date
of issue.

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles within the following markets/countries: North
America.
NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or after July 02, 2020 (MDH 0702XX) and on
or before July 13, 2020 (MDH 0713XX) equipped with 3.21 Rear Axle Ratio (Sales
Code DMC).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may experience a growling noise from the front axle which is more noticeable at
lower speeds in 4WD mode.
DIAGNOSIS:
If a customer’s VIN is listed in VIP or your RRT VIN list, perform the repair procedure no inspection
is required. This RRT only applies to vehicles on the RRT VIN List.

NOTE: Front axle assembly is pre-filled with fluid.
