A manufacturing error has been identified with the intake manifold gaskets packaged in the sets listed
above. The intake manifold gaskets are missing the embossment. The embossment is the main sealing
element on the surface of the intake gaskets and gets compressed during installation. When compressed,
the embossment increases contact stress/load, which is designed to seal the intake air/fuel mixture, coolant
and exhaust between the intake manifold and cylinder head. Without this embossment on an intake
manifold gasket, the gasket will not be able to properly seal the application. The following issues may occur
if these gaskets are installed: internal and/or external coolant leaks, vacuum leaks, and exhaust leakage. If
these conditions are allowed to persist, they may result in poor engine performance and drivability, engine
overheating, and internal engine damage.
All manufacturing and distribution inventory has been placed on hold and no additional sets will be released
until the part is corrected.
Credit will be issued to your account upon receipt of affidavit form.
1. Please visually inspect parts within the packaged label date codes shown below and scrap the
parts using the affidavit form included.
2. Email a copy of the completed affidavit to [email protected] *Subject line: RGA25191*

3. Reorder replacement product, as required.
