WLA8 Workshop campaign - Checking connecting sha for
front-wheel drive and replacing it if necessary.
Overview
There is a possibility that the splines of the connecting sha for the front-axle nal drive were not
greased according to speci cations on the a ected vehicles.
If this is the case, the area on and around the splines can become corroded over the service life of the
vehicle and as a result, the splines will wear. The customer may complain about a noise problem.
To prevent this from happening, the connecting sha for the front-axle nal drive must be checked. If
necessary, the connecting sha as well as the front-axle nal drive must be replaced.

* The parts must be stored until such a time as the related warranty or campaign claim has been
credited. If a barcode is generated with the credit note, the a ected part must be sent to Porsche AG
as usual. If no barcode is generated with the credit note, the part can go directly into the genuine
remanufactured parts process or be scrapped.

Note: estimated part check failure rate is 5%
Information on warranty processing
If the connecting sha and the front-axle nal drive have to be replaced on the basis of the test
results, please enclose digital photos of the relevant connecting sha and front-axle nal drive with
the respective PCSS/PQIS job line and warranty claim and send to Porsche AG.

Validity:
This workshop campaign will be carried out up to 8/28/2025 and will be closed by the speci ed date.
Please note that warranty claims can only be processed before this date.
