Speedometer, Rpm, Oil Pressure, and Temp
quit working when driving and comes back on after seconds. The
odometer will say "no data" and the voltage indicator will go to zero
and then slowly come back up when driving!!!!

Speedometer, Rpm, Oil Pressure, and Temp are all received from
the engine ECM over the j1939. I'm not certain if voltage is also or if
it is measured from the ICU Bat input. You did not mention gauges
sweeping so I'm not thinking ICU ignition input.
ICU pinouts can be found in the workshop manual 54.16.400.
Which engine or better yet the last six of the VIN will help
identifying j1939 test points at the ECM and in-between.

Does the unit have a mbe 4000 in it? I'm curious now

J46891 should be a 2000 Columbia with a mbe, not to confuse this issue but maybe a point for reference

I think those instrument clusters were still talking on J1587, not J1939. VIN would help. If it has
a series 60 in it, I’ve seen the J1587 wiring damaged in two areas by the engine ECM. The wiring
will vibrate in the loom and cause it to corrode or the p clip securing the harness has damaged it

I'm pretty sure we were at 250 K J1939, J1587 was still on its way out. (of the truck I mean)

A VIN would definitely help to see what the unit is built with. I looked up an 06 Columbia with a
series 60 which I didn’t see any J1939 wiring going to the cluster. There are only J1587 wires. I
don’t think the Columbia’s with MBE4000’s were any different.

The engineers didn’t make it easy with the diagrams on these Columbia’s and century’s. There are some
schematics but most issues I have had to diagnose require you to look through assembly and layout drawings to
find where your component is even getting power from.

it being a 60 series is high for sure but this could have been a glider for we know.
