new Cascadia vin# kd2016, truck has an cummins isx with onguard, driver complains onguard cuts out and
the cruise control stops working, I have not been able to verify complaint when its been in the shop/test drive,
ive spoke with meritor and cummins and of course they both point the finger at one another, ive gone through
all the basics(power ground data link) and found nothing abnormal inspected harness for front radar and on
guard display with no issues found, onguard has 47 counts of fc 2917/19 (communication to the EBC) and
has high counts of cummins fc 784 adaptive cruise control module data irratic and ABS has fc 1807/8 for the
steering wheel angle sensor. neither of these are active. and cummins parameters are set as they should be
for adaptive cruise, has anyone came across anything like this? I don't know what else to do, this is the 2nd
time its been in the shop for same issue

Is the part number in Wabco software correct? From parts pro its supposed to be WAB 400 871 541 0
I cant find anything on fault code for onguard 2917/19 in the MM-1306. EBS sounds like electronic brake
controller. Maybe check battery and the chassis can to the ABS ECU. There is no Ignition circuit to the new
ABS ECU, it seems to only rely on a wake up signal in the chassis can. I would check connections at the
VPDM too for ABS battery and ground circuits. Reference drawing G66-07897-000

Would highly recommend getting more info on that code 2917/19 EBS communication.

i have a new Cascadia LP3182, with cruise control not coming on. I checked the onguard faults and it has
one stored 516234/03. I checked power, ground and communication on the front radar using a head lamp and
found no issues with it. also the customer showed me a picture of the onguard screen showing code 2919/19
active at some point but it was stored. I did checked the service brake and park brake using diagnostic link and
they were responding correctly. I noticed this one doesn't have the three pin switch at the very top of the air
manifold. have you had any issues like this before

Yes 516234/03, just had that on a P3. Wabco thru a fit over 4 ohms to ground. Ended up having a
coworker do a powernet instead and found a voltage drop on a neg cable. But this issue was not causing
cruise inop, just intermittent codes.
That was for P3 though, radar p/n 4008715220. Probably same radar.
The brake switch was changed over I believe 9/2019 with the JYST changes. From a 3 pin to a 2 pin. Its
possible this is the cause. I would get a log file of the test drive for review.

I found that service brake switch in the wrong location, hopefully that's whats going on with it. its about to go on
a test drive.

I could not find anything on SPN 2917. But FMI 19 is received network data in error. So this does look like it is
a datalink issue.

ok here's what I've found, this truck also had an inactive ABS fc 1807/8 for SAS, I didn't pay much attention to
it because it being a new truck and no time stamp with low counts, but there is no communication through the
SAS, I have 58 ohms at the sensor but when I test from the star point to the sensor I have no continuity at all
unlike all the other modules on that star point, yes the SAS has good power and ground as it is shared with the
EBC. im replacing the SAS, ill update this if the problem returns

Did this unit every get repaired and what was the solution. I have a new Cascadia with a cummins with
intermittent fault code 2917/19 and 5681/9. Thanks.

With what you are experiencing I say you may have a issue with can wiring check wiring physically
