Subject: Some RTS / RTSe suspensions may have been assembled with incorrect torque values.
Applies to: RTS and RTSe tag axle suspensions
VDM Range: May 1, 2018 thru June 11, 2020

Labor Allowance: One hour for re-torqueing the control arm pivot fasteners

Please Read the Entire Bulletin and Reference Manuals D713816 and D715154 before
Proceeding with Any Work. Follow industry standards regarding safety equipment and
procedures. Refer any questions to Reyco Granning Field Service/Warranty department via
417-466-1056. (Jason Myers)
This procedure should be done at the Next Scheduled Service Interval.

Use calibrated tools to re-torque the 8 control rode pivot joint fasteners on the nut side as
shown in the diagram on the following page to 700 Ft-Lbs. ±25 Ft-Lbs. This applies to both
sides of the vehicle for a total of 8 locations (4 control rods).

If the Nut is not accessible, the bolt head side of the fastener can be torqued to 770 Ft-Lbs
±25 Ft-Lbs.

This is to only be done with the suspension at designed ride height. The designed ride
height is when the coach is sitting statically, with full air pressure in the suspension.
o Ride Height can also be measured at 8.25” vertically from the bottom of the frame
rail to the center of the wheel spindle.

Labor Allowance:

1.0 hr. max recommended. Invoice Charge capped at $125.00

For warranty coverage please supply the following info with warranty claim and submit to Reyco
Granning.
1. Suspension serial number, located on tag at front of suspension on driver’s side
hanger.
2. In Service Date
3. Repair Date
4. Vehicle mileage (if available)
5. Invoice #
