If a customer comes into your dealership and demonstrates the condition above, install the BPV Service Kit instead of replacing the

BPV assembly. Procedures are available in RMI.
Warranty

The BPV Push Rod and/or BPV Repair kit should be used to repair the BPV whenever possible.

If a BPV is replaced under warranty and it is determined that the kits could have been used to repair the BPV, your claim may be

adjusted.

SRT code 043-684 has been published to support installation of the BPV repair kit per RMI steps.

Introduction

The BPV linkage service repair kits are available for vehicles built with PACCAR MX-13 EPA 2013/2017 or MX-11

EPA2017 engine.

The BPV linkage may be worn due to corroded bearings. The corroded bearings often cause following DTCs:
