“Right first time in Time”
The following tools have been classified as mandatory by Volvo Car USA, LLC, and must be purchased
by Volvo Retailers. Volvo mandatory Special Tools are necessary for technicians to properly diagnose
and repair Volvo cars. They are used in development of Volvo labor operations and repair methods,
and promote safety and quality repairs in a timely manner. Tools are classified as mandatory because
associated repairs and/or diagnostics cannot be completed properly without them.
All tools on this bulletin have already been sent out to all retailers. When there are new mandatory tools,
a new Special Tool Bulletin is issued, and tools are automatically sent out to all retailers by Volvo.
This list will be updated periodically to reflect the addition of new tools.
