Information:

Due to a manufacturing problem with the pulse sender for the crankshaft, there is a possibility
that the crankshaft speed signal and crankshaft position signal may be lost at times on the
affected vehicles.
If this happens, it may take longer for the engine to start and the warning message "Engine control fault"
may be displayed in the instrument cluster.

Remedial
Action:

Replace pulse sender.
