Condition
The anodized aluminum caps, part numbers 2124335, 2124339, and 2124351 may slowly deteriorate over time when used with heated EGR
cleaning solution.

Information Only
For approximately 1 year, PPD will offer a kit containing stainless steel versions of all three of the affected sealing caps. After this period, they will
only be available individually.
Order the kit to replace all components at once, or order individually as needed.

Parts are available from PACCAR Parts.
Components may be purchased as the kit with all 3 components, or just individually.

Procedure
You are advised to order this tool kit with improved components.
The original components can continue to be used for pressure testing if they are not deteriorated.
The 2154150PE MX EGR Pressure Decay and Flush Service Kit currently does not include the stainless steel sealing caps.
NOTE
By adding the stainless steel caps to the kit, a testing configuration and a flush configuration can be
created. This saves the time and effort of reconfiguring the kit.

PACCAR MX EGR Pressure Decay and Flush Service Kit Sealing Caps

Introduction
For all models equipped with MX-13 and MX-11 engines, the EGR Cooler sealing caps (part numbers 2124335, 2124339
and 2124351) may deteriorate when used with heated EGR cleaning solution. New caps made of stainless steel are now
available as replacement parts.

Information Only
For approximately 1 year, PPD will offer a kit containing stainless steel versions of all three of the affected sealing caps.
After this period, each sealing cap will only be available individually. Order the kit to replace all components at once, or
order individually as needed.

This kit will be listed as Tool Requirement Level 4 Recommended on the next update of the PACCAR Master Special
Tools List update.
The original components can continue to be used for pressure testing if they are not deteriorated.
The 2154150PE MX EGR Pressure Decay and Flush Service Kit currently does not include the stainless steel sealing
caps.
