PURPOSE
This plan will provide all information needed to identify and repair a cab odor complaint in a ProStar with an EPA 2010
MaxxForce 11 / 13.

WARRANTY INFORMATION
• Effective with warranty claims for all models 9/9/2013 and later. SRTs for Exhaust Manifold Ring Seals may not be
combined with corresponding manifold gasket SRTs
• Cowl Tray repairs are only covered under Base Truck Warranty (01) or Service Contract (39) coverage if applicable. Be
sure to verify coverage before claiming.
• File separate claim sections when addressing leaks at the cowl tray and the exhaust manifolds.
• If vehicle is beyond standard (01) warranty cowl tray repairs can be claimed under warranty code (40) under a
separate claim section. Repair should NOT be done proactively (repair must address an "Odor in Cab" complaint).
All claims submitted under warranty code 40 must be filed by Feb. 28, 2014.
• If you are installing Manifold Gaskets, the Manifold Ring seals are included in that repair.
