DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this document is to inform the field of a new fuel pump relay kit. part number 2522071C91 should be
ordered when replacing a failed relay, located at the cowl panel, on CE Bus. This includes, but is not limited to, the 'Fuel Pump
#1' relay for Buses equipped with PSI Generation 1 LP engines.

DIAGNOSTIC STEP(s)
Perform a visual inspection of the relay(s) at the cowl panel, first. Replace w/ part number listed if there are any signs of damage
to the relay, terminals or base. If no evidence of damage is found, reference the "PSI 8.8L Propane Gen I Engine Diagnostic
Manual" (or relevant manual) for further diagnostic steps.
To prevent property damage, personal injury, and / or death, park vehicle on a hard, flat
surface, turn the engine off, set the parking brake, and install wheel chocks to prevent the
vehicle from moving in either direction.
REPAIR STEP(s)
1. Locate the failed cowl panel relay (i.e. 'Fuel Pump #1')
2. With side cutters, clip all 4 wires at the base of the relay (note the two, red insulated wires differ in gauge)
3. Strip all 4 wires to appropriate length to be received by the pre-crimped butt connectors on the pigtail of the new relay
4. Slide a piece of heat shrink tubing supplied in the kit, over each wire, prior to crimping any connections
4. Note the COLOR AND GAUGE of each wire and match the existing chassis wires (clipped in step 2) to the new relay pigtail
wires. Crimp the connections tightly.
5. Slide heat shrink tubing over each crimp connection and shrink via heat gun
6. Mount new relay to panel and verify engine operation
7. Repair complete
