PROCEDURE

DANGER
Park vehicle safely, apply parking brake, stop engine. Prior to working on the vehicle, set the ignition
switch to the OFF position and trip the main circuit breakers equipped with a trip button. On Commuter
type vehicles, set the battery master switch (master cut-out) to the OFF position.

PARTS / WASTE DISPOSAL
Discard waste according to applicable environmental regulations (Municipal/State[Prov.]/ Federal)
1. Make sure that the vehicle is OFF.
1. Remove the key.
2. Wait at least 30 seconds.
3. Turn OFF the emergency switch.
4. Turn OFF the battery switch.

2. Assembly the following extension.

3. Open the air conditioning unit grill cover.

4. Install the two air purifiers #21930773 in the
air conditioning unit.
A = 170 mm
B = 25 mm

5. Plug in the connectors with references AFH
and AFHA from the extension made in step 2
in the air purifiers.
Fix the fuse using the following length.
A = 70 mm
Splice the free end wires (POS and GND)
from extension made in step 2 in the relay K9
from air conditioning unit in the following order:
POS in pin 30
GND in pin 85

6. Perform a function test.

NOTE
When the bus is on, a green led must turned
on in each air purifier.

7. Close the air conditioning unit grill cover.

8. Turn on the vehicle.
1. Turn ON the battery switch.
2. Turn ON the emergency switch.
3. Wait at least 30 seconds.
4. Insert the key.
