DESCRIPTION:
When analyzing replaced seat belt catches, we have found catches with coins, candy, nuts, etc. inside,
causing the problem.
* Several vehicle types have been added.
SERVICE:
Before replacement, the belt catch must be checked for any kind of foreign objects inside. If there are
objects inside the belt catch try to carefully remove the object with a vacuum cleaner or compressed air.
Do not use a screwdriver or similar. Then check that the function of the belt catch is ok

Yes, please submit a Vehicle Report if the service solution described in this TJ has no effect. Use
concern area “Vehicle Report” and sub concern area “Support not needed”, use function group 8843.
