BULLETIN:

The purpose of this Product Upgrade Service Bulletin is to inform all REV
Recreation Group dealers about the need to inspect, and if necessary, add a
spacer to the seat belt mounting point for the driver and passenger seats in
order to improve the swivel range of the upper seat belt mounting brackets.

On motorhomes affected by this Product Upgrade, the upper mounting
brackets for the driver and passenger seat belts may be mounted in such a
way that when swiveling, it could be challenging to navigate the seat belt
around the leg of the front drop down bed.

Dealers are required to obtain Prior Authorization using the
A.D.N. warranty portal. Dealers must also call REV Dealer
Technical Support before beginning any work and after the
unit is in the repair bay. You will receive instructions and
any other necessary information.

1.

Park the motorhome on dry, level pavement. Place the transmission
into NEUTRAL and set the parking brake.

2.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key. Maintain control
of ignition keys while work is performed. Attach a notice “DO NOT
USE” to the ignition switch in order to prevent activation of the
systems or starting of the motorhome.

3.

Block wheels to prevent movement.

CORRECTION
4.

At the upper driver’s seat belt mounting point,
remove the plastic cover to expose the mounting
bolt. See Figure 1.

5.

Using a 5/8” socket and ratchet, remove the bolt
attaching the upper seat belt mounting bracket to
the wall. Discard this bolt; it will not be reused. See
Figure 1.

Using the new hardware from the repair kit (see Parts list on Page 4), slide the new
bolt through the new washer, then through the new steel sleeve. Continue by inserting
the bolt through the upper seat belt bracket and then through the new nylon spacer.

7. Apply Loctite® Threadlocker Blue 242® onto the threads of the new bolt and then
hand-thread the assembly into the nutsert in the sidewall. Use a 5/8” socket and
ratchet to tighten the bolt until it is snug.
8. For the final tightening, use a 5/8” socket and a torque wrench to tighten the bolt to 4555 ft./lbs.

9. Verify that the reinstalled seat belt mounting
bracket swivels with minimal effort.
10. Reinstall the plastic cover that was removed in
Step 4. See Figure 3.
11. After completing the repair for the driver’s side
seat belt, repeat Steps 4 through 10 for the
passenger’s side seat belt.
12. Take several clear photos of both completed
installations and attach them to a claim in the
