DESCRIPTION:

If there is a warning message in DIM (Driver Information Module) for headlamp high beam

malfunction, follow the advice under Service if also DTC B157913 is stored in the HCML (Headlamp

Control Module Left) or HCMR (Headlamp Control Module Right).

SERVICE:

If the DTC is confirmed, do not replace the headlamp if the headlamp is fully functional.

A software improvement is under development and is expected to be released approximately in

June, 2020.

This Technical Journal will be updated when the solution is available.

Note: If the headlamp does have some functionality issues, please follow the ordinary fault tracing

procedure in VIDA.
